Living Room blanket forts
I have such happy memories of doing this as a kid. Emptying out my mom's linen/blanket closet and making a tent city in the living room. Good times... It was awesome to watch the kids come up with the idea on their own. I am always rather surprised in this age of high tech toys at the things that bring the biggest response. When I told them they could use the kitchen chairs, they were happier than Christmas.

This was one of my favorite things to do when I was a kid too! My brother and I would even set up a box fan for ventilation... our tent city would get hot in the summer.
I love forts and tents! We do it quite often, they have gotten pretty elaborate! i will have to document sometime!
Definitely a favorite. Ever make wind tunnels? Box fan with a sheet fitted around it .. then turn on the fan and whole thing "inflates" so you can crawl in for a nap :) Good times!
its the simple things that give the most fun. I think we had it right as kiddos.
