I'm so glad you're making these lists! Now I'll have much to refer to after we move down there. But I kinda also feel like I owe you a consultant fee :)

What the heck is a 'hair mouse'? ;-)

This really is cool that you're doing this. I know there has to be others who appreciate it as well. A WONDERFUL starting point to tweak for their own families.

Btw - I saw you have bowls for the animals. Don't forget the actual food. :) Of course, maybe you buy that when you get to where you're going?

Gah Heather, doesn't every one have a hair mouse? You know the little mouse hairdresser that you let loose in your hair to style it?

Good point about the dog food! I need to find out if you can give a dog dramaine, or is there some kind of doggy motion sickness medicine.

Uh - no. Any mouse seen around here is under a death sentence [shiver].

I know you can give them Benadryl - which kinda makes them sleepy and more calm. My vet told me one 25mg pill for every 25 lbs. (1mg per lb.) easy to cut in thirds or half - but don't sweat it if you don't get precise. Just make em more sleepy. I'd try it before I actually needed it though to make sure on your specific dog it didn't have side effects or opposite reaction. Doesn't actually do too much for Storm, but it worked like a dream on the cats. But I don't know about actual Dramamine - checking with vet is always best. :-)

I guess it's that time.

Dramimine, I don't know about.

But Children's Benadryl worked on Spencer during the 4th. It didn't knock him out, but it was recommended by the vet and it helped calm him down.
