My mom bought me this really cool teapot for my birthday. I had been complaining that there was no ceremony involved in tea making.
With coffee I had a machine that would grind the beans, and the aroma was killer. But I love this tea, it "blooms" in the pot when you brew it and the flavor is out of this world. I have never had jasmine tea that tasted this wonderful.
It was also the second night of Hanukkah for us. In our household we fully celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas....Christmukkah. This year I am trying to incorporate oil other than for frying. I'm pretty sure we gained 10 pounds last year during eight crazy nights. So tonight we did fresh bread that we dipped in olive oil and seasonings. It was awesome, even the kids ate it. It was an Italian Hanukkah!
On a completely different topic, John is a Mama's boy again. He had gone through this phase where he only wanted Daddy, and he acted like I had the plague. So, I was glad to see him this week come around and love me best again. Brian is waiting for him to kill him off and blind himself. I know its kinda shallow, I want the kids to love Brian, but I don't want them to not love me..... and if they love me best I won't complain. Like I said, its sorta shallow.

I know that feeling, shallow, but honest :0)
Not fair, I want an Italian Christukka. I guess you have to be Church of Brain :0)
Your new teapot is beautiful, but I think you forgot to pour me a cup.
LMAO I just did my spell check and who'd have guessed that Christukka was not a word?! They suggest I change it to Christlike (or Christina, LOL)!
Yes, the church of Brian is very openminded!
Oh how rude of me.... /pours a cup of tea for You
